The ECO FLIRT exhibition is based on the simple premise that art specializes in perception. What form of perception, then, is required to respond appropriately to the climate crisis? How can art capture, represent, and project the intertwining of subject and environment? What forms of documentation can art devise when it comes to sketching out a new concept of “environment”?
Here I presented an installation on the theme of Steppe+Forest, in which I, as a child of the steppe, engaged with the space of the forest. The result was a design for a forest in the steppe.
